WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 3, 2015) – Effective January 31, 2015, Gary Kushner, SPHR, CBP, has been named President of the Small Business Council of America (SBCA). In addition to his wide-ranging experience in Washington, Mr. Kushner is a leading expert on human resource and employee benefits, and is President and CEO of Kushner and Company, based in Portage, MI.
Mr. Kushner will succeed Alson Martin, Esq. who has decided to step down after serving over 30 years as President. Mr. Martin will continue his involvement with the SBCA as Co-Vice President for Membership and Vice President for Health Care. Mr. Martin is a partner at the law firm of Lathrop & Gage, LLP in Overland Park, KS.
